Endukante Premanta Review Story:

An aimless, happy go luck guy Ram goes to Paris on business purpose and there he realizes that he was sent intentionally by his father (Sayaji Shinde) to teach him seriousness, discipline in life. One day, he falls in love with Indian Ambassador's (Suman) daughter Sravanthi (Tamanna). She was very protective by her dad and his security irritates her. One day, Sravanthi slips from home and seeks help of Ram to travel to India. Here comes a shocking twist to the tale and What happens next is to be watched on screen.

Analysis :
The first half of Endukante Premanta goes flat with a good romantic thread between Ram and Tamanna. Director Karunakaran tried to downplay the characters in the first half and the narration is dead slow. There is entertainment in parts and the story takes a turn with a shocking twist in the pre interval episode. The movie catches the momentum post interval and the second half carries the tempo up to some extent.

The second half is well etched with ample scope of sentiment, comedy and action. The episode where Tamanna reveals about herself, the way Ram convinces his aunt that he is talking to a soul, Sayaji Shinde's interview with media are fantastic. The climax episode has been dragged unnecessarily and the twist is not at all exciting. The songs fails to impress and they spoil the mood of the film. Except for Ram's dances and Tamanna's glamor none of them are catchy. For the first time, hero Ram's name has been flashed in the title cards as Energetic Star Ram.

Too much cinematic liberty without any logic has been taken in the name of love story. The director doesn't have any clue on how to end it. Ace writer Kona Venkat fails to make a mark as an actor and he has been wasted in an insignificant role. Brahmanandam's episodes are routine and his performance is monotonous. Rishi of 'A Film by Aravind' played a surprising role and his performance is praiseworthy.

TeluguOne Perspective :
Director Karunakaran has chosen a different subject and one can feel he was clueless and confused on how to execute it. The movie falls at places and suddenly catches the momentum with some fiction added to it. The first half literally tests your patience with contrived screenplay and few boring episodes. Hero Ram and Tamanna are the assets of the film and their performance has been amazing. The romantic thread between them work well with the audience. Tamanna dominated Ram in few scenes and she is endearing in the role of Sravanthi. On the whole, Endukante Premanta is entertaining in parts and you will enjoy it if you don’t look out for logic and go with zero expectations.

Performances:

Hero Ram is amazing and lived up to his tag of energetic star. His dances, comedy timing and expressions are a delight to watch. Tamanna has done a brilliant job in-terms of performance and she is looking gorgeous onscreen. Sayaji Shinde is hilarious and his dialogue delivery evokes smiles. Anu Hassan is splendid and offers good support. Krishna Bhagawan, Suman, Satya Krishnan, Brahmanandam are routine in their limited roles. Rishi has been very impressive.

Technicalities:
GV Prakash's music is average and his re recording is super. Cinematography by I Andrew is very good and is one of the highlights of the movie. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao's Editing could have been batter. Dilaogues are catchy. Production values of Sravanthi Movies are grand and will give rich look to the film. Direction by Karunakaran is OK.

Positives:

Ram and Tamanna's performance
Re recording

Negatives:

Boring first half
Songs
Resemblances of several films

thanks
